We all have an effect... whether we like it or not.
This can be positive or negative.
Do you ever consider the influence you, as an individual, can have to make things better for yourself and for others around you?
Think of that person, who can make you feel small..... by a look, a word or an action.
Then consider that person who makes you feel like you can achieve anything, be anything, makes you happy and feel accepted and joyful at just being in their presence.
Which person are we choosing to play today?
We each have an innate power to initiate a ripple of positivity that effects ourselves and people around us. the.(#yourname).effect
Be that person who brings happiness into someone's life today
Be that person who makes someone smile today
Be that person who brings positivity today
Be that person who accepts others without judging today
Be that person who loves and respects themselves, so they can bring that to others today
It wasn't the easiest thing for me to put myself into the public eye and even name a website in my name, let alone do videos and share them on social media.
But I came to the realisation, that I can have a positive impact on others.
That I can encourage, inspire and support people who need it. This is my intention and motivation for the.denise.effect
To step into a space that allows me to make a real difference.
And the bonus is, that it truly feeds my soul.
If you don't think you have much to share, or any value to offer others, think again.
Actually, don't think! Feel! How do you feel you can make a positive effect?
It reminds me of a story I read many years ago, I think from one of those Chicken Soup is Good for the Soul books - about a little boy who was walking along the beach. As the boy was walking, he would stoop down and pick up a starfish on the beach and throw it back into the ocean. A man was walking behind him and noticing there were hundreds of starfish on the sand. He said to the boy 'How do you expect to make a difference?' The boy replied as he threw another starfish back into the ocean, 'Well, it made a difference to that one'.
Go and have a wonderful day
