Hi, my name is Denise Baffis. I'm a single mother of 2 adult sons and 2 beautiful grandsons. Living in paradise in Coffs Harbour, loving being near the ocean and enjoying the many beautiful places to see that are so close by.
My passion is making a difference to my life and the lives of people around me. I have varied life experiences that have all come together to make the.denise.effect possible. I hope you enjoy what you find.
My Story
In the past few years, from a work sense, my day to day included leading regional and statewide teams for TAFE NSW. My passion was to build a strong positive, happy and healthy work culture, to bring the best out in each individual and enable a high functioning, well adapted team. I loved the role I could play in building this culture and seeing the difference it made in people's lives and work, and the benefits it gave the organisation. I certainly benefitted as well.
Late 2024 my role was made redundant, which was unexpected and this started a totally new journey for me.
This journey was transformed further with a cancer diagnosis in January of 2025.
While these changes to my life were challenging, they have helped me become a better version of myself. I look at things in a very different light. I now feel more happy, relaxed and content.
Having experienced a challenging, but life-changing year, this inspired me to support others going through a similar journey.
It also gave me an enhanced sense of thankfulness and gratitude for life and enjoying the present moment.
Hence, the.denise.effect. This is me stepping into a more public space to promote positivity, thankfulness and a healthy mind, body and spirit. The offerings here will grow over time. One day at a time. Wishing you the opportunity to live your best life and enjoy every day x
